When I first started traveling, I carried with me a gnome named Bradellina. Our first great adventure was driving around the U.S. in a station wagon we dubbed Pete because of the PYT in the license plate. Now, though, Bradellina is back with his/her (gender was slightly ambiguous) original owner, so I have adopted a new travel gnome who I named Pete, in honor of my old car. No Small Potatoes
On the roadtrip we exited Washington to the east, so Idaho was our next stop. Here's Bradellina enjoying Lake Coeur d'Alene in September 2009. While there we saw the moose that we never ended up seeing in Maine.
